ABOUT MYSELF

My name is Margaret Schermerhorn.  I have run Pacific Crossroads, a store here in Port Townsend Washington, since 1989.  I began learning massage at 12 when a friend of my mom saw my big hands and saw potential there!  That was around 1959.

In 1975 I suffered a severe sciatic injury and spent months and months in bed, not wanting to consider surgery, and feeling instinctively that better and more natural ways of healing existed.  Finally I was directed to Louise Hunt, a practitioner of the great American Master Joseph Stephenson’s Creative Healing, and was soon brought back to my normal strength.

 I then began to learn the techniques from Louise’s brother-in-law, John Hunt, who had taught her and many others. He was one of only two people who were the receptacles of Joseph Stephenson’s amazing and original techniques and philosophy of healing.

In the 25 years since then, Rock-Medicine is the first healing modality I have come across that has the same profound resonance for me as that of Creative Healing, and integrating these two unique healing ways has been the most satisfying journey.

As I learned Creative Healing, my love of using olive oil as an element of healing massage took firm root. HOW ROCK-MEDICINE WORKS

“Rock-Medicine works by way of electromagnetic vibration at a chemical level.  We are matter in motion.  This is grade school science class information.  All that exists is composed of minute particles moving at rapid speeds.  Though we cannot pass our hand through a tabletop, we know that it actually consists of tiny particles that are constantly moving.

        The three life kingdoms on the planet give off electricity when they are alive.  It is easy for us to see when the life force has gone out of a plant or animal, for they have lost their electrical charge.  On the other hand, the mineral kingdom does not lose its electrical charge, as long as one crystal cell remains intact.  This is why we use the stones and minerals themselves, for their ability to give off a chemically based electrical charge.  It is not appropriate to alter them by heating, dyeing, or pulverizing them.  The whole point in utilizing this medicine is that we can treat ourselves with no residuals, and thus, no side effects.  Nor is this medicine (the rock material) meant to be ingested, as Rock-Medicine works via vibration only.

        An important thing to remember is that the Master Blend addresses the underlying causes of (i.e. predispositions to) illness.  However, when the Master Blend alone does not prove to fully address a specific imbalance or illness, you need to add stones that “balance the cause/effect equation” and treat the specific symptoms.”    Sela Weidemann Randazzo

ESSENCE METHOD

      “The standard application method of essence is four drops held briefly under the tongue before swallowing.  The capillaries under the tongue are very close to the surface and absorb essence quickly into the blood stream.  This application is repeated four times a day at the same four to six hour intervals, for a minimum of three weeks.  This is the minimum requirement. 

The same rules apply here as with all applications of Rock-Medicine:  the duration of treatment is directly related to the severity and prolongation of the illness.  Essence may be given to anyone, from infants to the aged.  If the patient is required to take nothing by mouth, by physician’s orders, the essence may be applied to the forehead or wrists, although this is not as effective as when ingested.  Essence can also be given to any animal following the same rules as with humans.”     S.W.R.

THE SEVEN CLEANSERS

      Rock-Medicine works because it is based on the combined electromagnetic messages of seven stones: amber, smokey quartz, pyrite, covellite, jade, ancient clay and hematite (or carnelian-depending on age of user).

Amber links the healing to ones DNA, finding the template or pattern of perfection.  If the imbalance is from birth, the DNA provides that template from an ancestor, going back as far as required.

Jade detoxifies the body of emotional and spiritual residues. It breaks down any blocks or barriers to healing.  Its action, as well as ambers, is vital for any real healing.  Amber and jade are the “Grandmother and Grandfather Stones” of Rock Medicine.

Smokey quartz cleans the water in the body. 

Pyrite cleans the oxygen in the body.

Covellite cleans the body of toxic radiation.  In more severe cases there are other Rock-Medicine combinations that can do this job.  See Paranoid-Schizophrenia.

Ancient clay over 300 years old, was dug up and fired before the advent of air pollution.  Its action is to detoxify the immune system.

Hematite purifies the blood of those under the age of 55, carnelian for those over 55.  The Master blend contains both hematite and carnelian.

WHY START WITH THE MASTER BLEND ?

      “In the serious pursuit of wellness, it is necessary to treat not only the symptoms of illness but also the causes or catalysts.  Over the years we have had many experiences with combining the specific stones for a single malady.  In countless instances where the prescribed application was administered, the malady itself would disappear.  However, a secondary illness would often surface elsewhere.  In treating that second condition, we often found the process repeated itself, again revealing a subsequent illness.

       This led us to the obvious conclusion that we were not addressing the areas of distress that initially bring on the experience of imbalances.  The underlying imbalances can include everything from accident to attitude to illness.  We have formulated a combination that we call the Master Blend.  It is this combination that we feel enables us to do the most complete cleansing for the purpose of eradicating any and all predispositions to imbalance.

       The methods of application are quite simple.  Everyone should begin with the Master Blend combination, for an initial cleansing.  This grouping of thirty-three stones works to clear the spirit, mind, and body of these factors that contributed to the initial imbalance.  The hardest part about doing this therapy is remembering to do it faithfully for at least three weeks.  Some individuals may require up to six weeks.  After at least twenty-one days of consistent use, it is important that you re-evaluate your condition.  Some of your symptoms will have disappeared.  As we discussed earlier, by the time we see evidence of imbalance in the physical body, the spirit and mind have already been affected and have rolled it down to the next level in an attempt to signal that something is wrong.”   S.W.R.

THE MASTER BLEND

The complete Master Blend list includes thirty-three stones and incorporates the seven physical cleansers as well.  The Master Blend list is as follows:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION  

      “After the cleansing period is over, you may then proceed with the specific combinations for the remaining symptoms.  If medication is being used, those choices and amounts will change.

In cases involving the use of synthesized chemicals, such as lithium or insulin, levels should be tested daily or at least with dramatically increased frequency, because as the body begins to heal, it will require less and less of prescribed medications.  This applies to heart and blood pressure medications also.  It can be very detrimental to take more of any medication than your body or condition requires.  Your physician should be responsible for monitoring all prescribed medications.  If your doctor is unwilling to work with you on this, I suggest you seek out one who will.  After all, you are their employer.

       Bear in mind also that much leeway exists in the three week timetable guideline for the cleansing period.  Some situations may require only brief assistance, of mere hours or days.  This could be true of everything from irritating insect bites or rashes to the common cold or allergy attack.  Then, on the other hand, depending upon the patient’s age, duration of the illness, and its severity, the specific application may require many months.  This could be true in the case of cataracts or in bringing one’s vision back to

Always Start With:

CALCITE WATERS FOR TREATING CANCERS

      “Cancer is a disease of attitude.  Calcite may be used as a preventive measure where one’s attitude indicates a predisposition to manifesting this disease.  Those who attempt to suppress anger create blockages that fester and grow malignantly.  Anger arises due to a person’s perception that their freedom has been denied, as when a wild animal loses it’s spirit as a result of being caged.”  S.W.R.

White Calcite is the general application stone for cancer anywhere in the body and in most forms.  White is also the stone of choice for treatment of the side effects of chemo-radiation therapy, which may include the dizziness, nausea, exhaustion, and weakness brought on by the residuals of that treatment plan.

Pink Calcite is the stone most specifically for leukemia.  It is applicable to sickle-cell anemia also.

Yellow Calcite is for cancers in the kidneys, liver, pancreas, bladder, uterus, vagina and prostate. 

NOTE: When there is an affliction in any one of these areas that is not cancer, the

      yellow calcite can serve to direct the help of other specific stones to this area. 

      The same applies to green calcite and blue calcite, for their respective areas.

Green Calcite is applied when the areas afflicted are in the spleen, colon, intestines, or digestive tract.

Blue Calcite is indicated for use where the lymph or glandular system is infected with the cancer.

NOTE: “Calcite will always be used for cancers.  This includes external as well as internal eruptions.  Again note that the use of the various colored calcites is not exclusive to cancerous conditions but may be incorporated into combinations where the calcite is indicating the area of affliction.”  S.W.R.

MAKING THE ROCK ESSENCE WATERS AND OILS

      Heaven & Earth Rock-Medicine Healing Essences were made with distilled water and the oils with organic olive oil, grapeseed oil and aloe vera oil.  Each one was carefully made to insure that the correct combinations of stones were used.  Some of them were remade several times until they were perfect.
